The Meat and Poultry Processing Agricultural Workforce Training Grant Program (A7602) is offered through the Education and Workforce Development Call for Applications. Priority description of grant program area:
Safe and resilient meat and poultry supply chains require a trained, skilled and diverse workforce with the right skills in the right place. Based on stakeholder feedback, an expanded workforce is one of the most common and persistent needs in the beef, pork and poultry sectors. To contribute to the pool of well-trained workers and support safe workplaces with fair wages, this program aims to support the development, expansion and standardization of meat and poultry processing training programs in community, junior and technical colleges.
