CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® installs the 2022 management team

LOS ANGELES, November 15, 2021 / PRNewswire / – The CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REAL ESTATE AGENTS® (CAR) has installed its management team 2022. The president of the CAR leads the team Otto Catrina, a full-time real estate broker / agent in the Bay Area® since 2002. Serving with Catrina are President Elect Jennifer branchini and treasurer Heather ozur. 2022 agents begin their official term this week at the close of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REAL ESTATE AGENTS® (NAR) Conference and exhibition held at San Diego.

President of the CAR Otto Catrina

A full-time real estate broker / agent® in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2002, Otto Catrina is president of the CAR. In addition to serving its clients, Catrina is also active with its local, state and national associations of REAL ESTATE AGENTS®.

Catrina is State Director for the CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REAL ESTATE AGENTS®, where he was the Federal President of the CAR and Chairman of the CAR Legislative Committee. He was a public policy liaison to the CAR leadership, overseeing federal and state legislation.

Catrina has also held various leadership positions at the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (NAR) including the director of NAR, member of the issues mobilization committee and REAL ESTATE AGENT® Party member involvement committee. He will sit on the NAR Executive Committee in 2022-2023.

Locally, Catrina served as the 2011 President of the Bay East Association of REALTORS®, where he served on various committees including strategic planning, board of directors, marketing, professional standards and government relations. local.

Distinguished in the real estate industry, Catrina has been recognized by the Bay East Association of REALTORS® with numerous honors. He received the Association’s prestigious “REALTOR® of The Year” in 2007, the John A. Deadrich Distinguished Service Awards in 2009 and the Outstanding Leadership Award in 2019. REALTOR® from the San Francisco Bay Area Jennifer branchini is president-elect of the CAR. Branchini has been a REAL ESTATE AGENT since 1998, having worked in management at his family’s brokerage house for many years. As Agent and Associate Sales Director at Compass Real Estate in Pleasanton, she is also an active REALTOR®, helping her clients meet their housing needs.

Branchini has held many leadership positions during his career.

At the state level, Branchini served on the board of directors of the CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® since 2010 and has served in various capacities on numerous committees of the CAR. Most recently, Branchini served as CAR Treasurer in 2020-2021 and was responsible for leading the Strategic Planning Committee, identifying critical issues of importance to REALTORS® based on the driving forces affecting the evolution of the real estate market and of the brokerage industry.

Nationally, she has served on the Board of Directors of the National Association of REALTORS® since 2014. Most recently, she served as Chair of the Member Services Liaison of the Meetings and Conferences Committee.

At the local level, she was the 2014 President of the Bay East Association of REALTORS®. She was instrumental in the creation of the Bay East Young Professional Network (YPN) and led the CALIFORNIA Forum of the ASSOCIATION DES AGENTS IMMOBILIERS® YPN. Branchini was honored as Real Estate Agent of the Year 2010 and was recognized as an Outstanding Bay East Leader in 2017.

CAR Treasurer Heather ozur

Palm Springs REAL ESTATE AGENT Heather ozur acts as treasurer of the CAR. Ozur has been REALTOR® for over 20 years, specializing in residential real estate with Keller Williams in Palm springs.

Ozur has been an active voice in the REALTOR® community since 2003. At the state level, Ozur has served as CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® Director since 2008, serving on various committees including strategic planning and finance, professional standards, transactions and regulation, federal, legislative and business technology forums.

At the national level, Ozur is director of the National Association of REALTORS®. She has served as Chair of the Strategic Thinking Advisory Committee, member of the Finance Committee, and PRPP Large Investor Representative for Region 13. She is a graduate of the NAR Leadership Academy and the PRPP Golden R Presidents Circle Hall of Fame.

Locally, Ozur served as president in 2010 and 2011 of the California Desert Association of REALTORS® (CDAR) and secretary of the Palm Springs Regional Association of REALTORS® (PSRAR) from 2015 to 2018. In 2013, she received the title REAL ESTATE AGENT of the year from CDAR.

Also active, with the Women’s Council of REALTORS®, Ozur was its 2019 National President. Previously, she was the 2005 Local Network President for Grand Palm Springs and the 2014 President of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® California.

As announced earlier this year, the current CEO, Joël Singer, will retire at the end of the year, after 43 years of service with the Association. A search committee is conducting a nationwide search for Singer’s replacement, which is expected to be announced by the end of this year.
