Check Out These Holiday Markets Open Around San Antonio

Residents always on the lookout for the perfect holiday gifts have several opportunities to shop locally through the holiday markets and other seasonal festivities planned in the San Antonio area.

Some of these events are as follows.

December 11: Downtown Dog Market has local vendors specializing in dog and cat clothes, accessories, toys, and food. This month’s downtown dog market features a Santa Paws parade and a dog costume contest. 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Parade and contest start at noon. Dog owners interested in participating must register online or on site. Free entry. Legacy Park, 103 W. Houston St.

December 11: The pet-friendly SoFlo Market features local artists and markets with handmade creations, local produce, and vintage finds. There will also be food trucks. Masks are encouraged. 10 am-4pm Free admission. 1344 S. Flores Street [email protected]

December 11: North Pole Nopal, hosted by the San Antonio River Foundation, is an outdoor event that features a farmers market, native tree giveaway, food trucks, and a San Antonio Brass Band show. 10 am-2pm Free admission. Confluence Park, 310 W. Mitchell St.

December 11: Southtown Second Saturday Holiday Market is brought to you by The Artisan. 11 am-6pm Free admission. 1103 S. Presa Street

December 11-12: The Holiday Craft Market at Hemisfair is an outdoor event that features vendors of holiday hot drinks and cocktails. 10 am-4pm Free admission. 434 S. Alamo Street

December 18: The StreetFareSA food truck park hosts a handful of local vendors and encourages visitors to stick around to eat and drink. 12 pm-5pm Free admission. 1916 Austin Hwy.

December 18: Christkindlmarket is the first German Christmas market in Main Plaza. Visitors can have refreshments at the Blue Star Ice House and see a Christmas tree and nativity scene on site. 4 pm-9pm Free admission.

December 18: Santa will be available at the Village at Stone Oak Mall to pose for free photos. See Santa Claus between Loft and Victoria’s Secret stores. Bring a new toy to donate to Soldiers’ Angels, a local non-profit organization that serves military members, veterans and their families. 12 pm-4pm Free admission. 22610 US 281 N.

December 19: The Arbor Park Pop-Up Market at Arbor Park Mall will include a visit from Santa. 11 am-5pm Free admission. 17700 San Pedro Avenue
