Marin Builders Association honors window specialist Novato



John Pope, director of Old Town Glass in Novato, received the Peter Arrigoni Building Community Leadership Award from the Marin Builders Association.

Pope, who joined the association’s board of directors in 2016 and was the 2020 president, led the organization during the COVID-19 pandemic, helping construction companies adapt to changing conditions. health and construction guidelines.

Pope is also a search manager for the Marin County Sheriff‘s Office Search and Rescue Team, where he is responsible for managing incidents across California. He has been part of the SAR team since 2003.

The award was created in 2019 to honor the late CEO of the association from 1977 to 2003. The award recognizes excellence in industry leadership and community engagement.

Arrigoni also served on the Marin County Supervisory Board from 1968 to 1976.
