Nutrition and Foodservice offers comprehensive and innovative nutrition and foodservice programs to our Veterans. We strive to align with the Global Health and Healthy Living team programs to improve the overall health and well-being of the Veterans we serve.

Clinical nutrition services;

Inpatient services

Dietitians in the acute care setting work closely with the healthcare team to ensure Veterans receive nutritional support during their hospital stay.

Outpatient services

Dietitians at our outpatient clinics help Veterans achieve their health goals through counseling and nutrition education.

Food services


Hospitalized veterans enjoy made-to-order meals from our room service menus prepared by our trained chefs. With meal times not scheduled, Veterans can call a Food Service Ambassador at certain times to order a freshly prepared meal throughout the day or schedule a meal in advance for delivery at a later time. .


Residents of the Community Integration Center (CLC), Comprehensive Rehabilitation Unit (CRU) and Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Programs (PRTRs) also enjoy a veteran-centric lunch with our restaurant-style service. in the CLC and selective menus in other areas. The open kitchen concept at the center of CLC enhances the home environment as the aromas of freshly prepared meals waft through the hallways.
