Like previous events, players will have the option to purchase a Community Day Special Research Story from the in-game store for 1 USD, as well as take advantage of the Stardust x3 bonus for catching Pokemon. There will also be an increased chance of encountering a wild Shiny Hoppip, giving players the chance to add another Shiny Pokémon to their teams.
