MACKEYVILLE – Truckers 4 Hope is an everyone’s community event held at the Clinton County Fairgrounds. The fifth annual event will take place September 24-26. This event entertains community members young and old with big trucks, food, music and more.

Truckers 4 Hope is an annual event that many people from all over come to enjoy every year. People come from New England, the West Coast and the Southern States to join in the event.

With so much to do, everyone can find something to enjoy. From food from local food vendors like Scott’s Roasting and Snyder’s Concessions, to over 60 merchant vendors filling the two fairground buildings, to live shows in the past and present hosting local bands. like Speed ​​Bump Willie in booming country stars like Claudia Hoyser and Adam Yarger, Aaron Tippin and Confederate Railroad, and the show’s personal favorite: Long Haul Paul who can tell you trucker stories through songs that touch the soul.

Each year, the show gets bigger.

The first year that 40 semi-trailer trucks were counted in the field, it grew to more than 300 semi-trailer trucks. The semi-trucks glow during the evening light show, a community favorite.

Truckers 4 Hope aims to bring the community together with fun, entertainment and a lot of joy. Even if that’s not the only goal. The main goal of the show is to raise awareness and fund the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation by helping it find a cure for the terminal illness that affects so many people, including members of the community.

Truckers 4 Hope and his HOPE4HAYZE Cystic Fibrosis Team have donated over $ 90,000 over the years.

This three day event takes the whole year to plan with a lot of blood, sweat and even tears to run a transparent and impressive event for the community.

The family and close friends of organizers Jason and Prella Smith couldn’t have done it all without their help, love, support and commitment.

Truckers 4 Hope brought fireworks and monster trucks to this year’s event, as well as its annual evening light show. The show even hosts a kids day where there are games, crafts, and characters as well as a kid’s community favorite, the pedal pools.

CMHC Seniors are teaming up with Truckers 4 Hope and Hope 4 Hayze to organize a great day for the kids as part of their senior projects. Even the local Cubs troops join us and donate their time to the event.

The show hosts its own cornhole tournament presenting trophies to the winning team. But don’t worry, if these activities aren’t for you, there are always the semi-truck pull-ups, tractor pull-ups, drag races, or even working-class track pull-ups.

Every day, all day long, there is something going on 24 hours a day, including a barrel train for the kids to enjoy! Want even more? The raffle table is exploding with incredible prizes up for grabs.

Take the family out. The cost to enjoy the events is a $ 10 entry fee with children 10 and under entering free.
